I agree with Jodi, you lost history and thats why the drop in your score.

If you have a pretty rounded out file your scores will probably rebound in a few months. If you have a thin file and few tradelines on it, it will probably take a bit longer.

OK here is why. Not only is your credit score based on good and bad it is also based on how long you have had credit so it sounds like one or some of whatever dropped off your credit was old by dates. I had the same thing happen to me do you remember how old these things were that dropped. That is why you have to look at dates before you dispute.

your score is based not only on bad credit but on how much good credit companies are willing to extend to you.....
