I am not trying to sell anything I am trying to convence my management council that going paperless is better than sticking to the old way.... They dont always accept change well and I need a good ideal of getting them on board as this will happen with or with out there approval but I would like them to feel positive about it (as if their descision implimented it) oppose to me saying "this is how its gonna be, deal with it!"

Any ideals????

The issue of cities offering cash incentives to lure sports teams from other cities is only thoe tip of the iceberg when it comes to city competition for business. Bringing in lucrative businesses provides city coffers with new sources of tax revenue while providing jobs to citizens. Corporations take these cash incentives to net a greater profit. Of course, in taking thes deals the cities left behind suffer financially while a significant number of its citizens find themselves out of work. Is it right to offer financial deals and special incentives to some companies or sports teams despite the fact that these cities are hurting their fellow Americans? Is it right that businesses take these deals, or do they have the right to gain the highest possible profit at the lowest possible cost? Explain.

Has anyone ever had good results when asking a cc company to reduce their intrest rate, or do a debt negotiation? (example: an APR of 19.99% that was reduced... or a balance of $3500 negotiated to $2900 and paid in full) If so, which company was this with? I am looking to do this, and want to know my chances of success.

The title company provided incorrect tax information on it's final commitment and closing papers. Their "insured" amount was $1100 less than what the actual taxes are. Therefore they did not collect the correct amount from the previous owners for their share of the year's taxes. Isn't the reason for paying for title insurance so to ensure all information including the tax amounts are correct? Since they had the wrong information to begin with the incorrect information shows up on the closing papers. I paid the amount that was on the closing papers but now am delinquent for the extra $1100+ they did not report. Are they not liable to pay the insured amount since it was definately their gross error?

in UK Airports; some child manages to board a jet with no boarding pass or passport; another jet is forced to land at Boston in the States because some woman became claustrophobic (I wonder why - cattle class perhaps?); and produces some matches and face cream and is arrested for it; and finally the BAA and the police in England are lambasting each other as to who should take responsibility for the increased security costs needed to pay for this and presumably future terrorist acts !

An aircraft is a pressurised metal tube separated by two wings full of highly flammable fuel; and if for whatever reason, however unlikely, it is compromised somehow, be it by accident or sabotage - it is, as it has ALWAYS BEEN - an extremely vunerable not to mention uncomfortable piece of technology, which you have very little chance of surviving if there is a fire, crash or it depressurises. My question is simply, when are we going to make these aircraft more secure than the airports to get to them !

We are buying a used truck from my father in law who is too ill to drive anymore (we are getting a heck of a deal on it). We plan to pay off the loan when we sell our house, within the next year. We wonder if the tax write off of the equity line offsets the higher interest charge. With regards to the $75 charge to use the credit card check, how does that change the real apr and what is the math you used to figure it out?

I wanted to know if this is possible. 40-50% of my place is used for business. Since all of my income flows thru my business bank account, it (to me) makes sense to pay my rent and utilities which can be deducted out of my biz account. I take a draw for any personal expenses (movie rentals, personal groceries, health/hygiene, etc). I'm the sole owner so all passes thru to me anyway. Am I on the right track here?

Hi,

I'm in the process to start up a new footwear boutique. I'm trying to think of shoe store names, but the only one that's really stuck in my head is "SHUZE SALON". Does anybody have any suggestions to name a new shoe store that will be synonymous with comfort, casual, variety, trendy, and hip?

I really appreciate any input!
