Have been working as a nanny for 20 years and am bored stupid! Really frustrated with applying for other jobs only to have people take one look at my cv,pat me on the head and say "oh,how cute"!. I have a brain,am well travelled,good with people and a fast learner. On the downside,I have no pc skills (just signed up for a course) and am rubbish with numbers. Would love to work in an environment that involves people,challenges me and would give me the chance to travel or ideally work overseas. Any advice appreciated.

Hey Guys, just wondering if you guys could tell me what is Coke's structure of ownership: IS IT CLOSELY/WIDELY HELD? I think it is widely. Percentage of ownership by institutions is about 21%, I don't know what is the rest.

You realize when you apply for a job using a "cool" email address like "LilThug69@xxx.com or you have a 3-minute 50 Cent song as your voicemail that you're pretty much destroying any type of first impression you can make.

Also, wearing your best pair of blue jeans accompanied by a $200 pair of sneakers, isn't going to impress anyone during a job interview. This isn't American Idol, it's reality.

There's nothing wrong with being the hip-hop pimp you think you are during your days off; but it's time to grow up just a wee bit and realize the world isn't one big rap video.

Otherwise, McDonald's will always be hiring.

And if you're over the age of 23 and this question applies to you...then you're probably not fit to be a parent.

As the U.S. corporate empire rushes toward its goal to rule over the citizens of America and the rest of the world, relegating same to a docile slave state of obedience to a higher order, they are looking for creative new ways in which to fool the public into surrendering their unalienable God given rights over to this police state idiology. I work for a small business with a few joint owners and 15 slaves to the man. Work conditions are awful. Pay is poor to average at best. The system we use to do our business is outdated and rediculous, and we must work weekends to catch up with the competition because the ownership is not open to change. I feel the only way to force change for the better is to begin a union to bargain with, but the main owner has made it clear that he will not tolerate a unionized work force. So my specific question is: how to I start or join a union that will bring our employer into the 21st century without getting everyone fired?

I had a phone activated for my daughter in law and she did not pay the bill. The phone company did not notify me before charging off the bill and now my credit score is considerably less. I previously had perfect credit before this. When I spoke to the phone company about paying the bill they said they still would not remove the negative remark on my account.
