After the restaurant is closed, make sure there is light on in the inside and that it is locked securely.

Check all restaurant furniture (such as tables and chairs) to make sure they are all in suitable condition before opening each day (so an angry customer doesn't go crashing down on a chair that has a leg broken ... and sues).
