Has there been a true account that Tat-B-Gone really removes a tattoo? Has anybody ever heard of the chemical peel method? Starting to get bored with my tattoos and I don't like doctors holding a knife to my skin and there's no way I'm letting them freeze my skin and put a freaking belt sander to it. Those methods are out. Have any of you heard of the cream or chemical peel methods?

im in san diego visiting family, and im 17, and ive always wanted tattoos but thought there should be meaning behind them or from a special occasion or something, because its permanent obviously. well recently events have transpired that are perfect for tattoos, but again im only 17. im from the east coast, where if youre underaqge you just need parental consent. so i took my mom with me, but they told me that i myself have to be 18. whats the deal? is there anywhere on garner or something that wont ask for id?

I got one about 6-8 months ago and it still hurts some and I have been notcing that when i take it out to clean it I have a hard (almost like a scab) on the bottom part of it inside my ear. If anyone out there has it is this normal? How long did it take before urs stopped hurting altogether? Thanks! Also, did anyone else's bleed after it was done?

So far all I've heard is that you have to become an apprentice to a tattoo artist, but nothing about schooling... people say I'm a good artist, but im only going to be taking art 1 for my senior year. any advice?

I have about 13 tattoos on various parts of my body. One large piece i have on the outside of my calf has little bumps on the top part of it. It's the only one that ever presents a problem and it's not even the entire tattoo. I have one on the identical spot of my other calf and it's fine too....any advice???

I have been looking for a tattoo for the last 5years!!

Finally I've seen a design on tattoojohnny.com of a lovely shooting star... my back is the place where im thinking of getting it done!!

QUESTIONS!!!!
On the site, they say that i should pay for the outline/stencil, which is about £6, so that the tattoo artist i use gets the best image of the tattoo i want.... do you think this is necessary??!!
(its a black tattoo)

When going to the shop, which questions should i ask, or what should i look out for?! Ive been looking for years, and seen a really clean new but well established shop. Ive looked at their portfolio, but what am i looking for??!!

Any tips or advice.... xx

I really want to get a small food tattoo just under my ankle on the inner side of my right foot. Clearly people in this section like tattoos, have tattoos, and want an easy place to talk about it. But every once in a while people come here to attack tattoos and piercings--they say it will make you sterile, leads to drugs and pregnancy, makes you look trashy, or you will always regret your decision no matter what--and to generally convince everyone on here to not get tattoos and piercings by spreading lies and fanaticism.

I am not sterile, pregnant, on drugs, I don't look trashy and I sure don't hate myself for my actions. I am a decent person, my piercings do not make me any worse than you. Do any of these people stop to think that tattoos and piercings aren't always gotten for style or a fad--but a lot of these piercings and tattoos have a lot of meaning? Some do it to honor deceased loved ones, or proclaim a faith. I highly doubt those people will regret it, or are trashy, horrible people.

I got a foot tattoo about a month ago. It is simple line art....but it is still peeling. It looks gross. There are peeling lines tracing my tattoo!

1. Is it normal for it to still peel a month later.
