The best thing you can do is get the skin lasered or have skin removed from doctor and have part of another place put there, wait a bit they are making lasers that will remove the ink all together.....its too expensive right not... but here are the facts on it anyways... even though you didn't ask.. Allah forgive us of the things we did when we cannot see his guidance amen...... if you did it before you where muslim its forgiven and you can eleminate it from your mind cause the more you do could harm you.. and once is enough until there is perfect method that Allah shows medicine as he has shown them from the seeds he plants in all humans...Allah said if you have any hazard against removing it.. leave it for to hurt yourself 2x would be worse than the first.... peace to you
Filth inside your skin is a total sin, you will be reduced to the back of the line with the small children and you will never be able to lead anyone in prayer ever again even the smallest unknowledgeable human being will be considered your Imam or Imama......."Its your body do what you like attitude is completely and utterly ignorant to all things Allah" Its your body but it belongs to Allah and it will return to Allah that is a guarantee. Why do muslims take one thing and do another. Muslim parents are to blame for every lost muslim soul!
even if you get it covered up or died back to orignial colour your skin will testify against you infront of the lord and you will watch it speak against you... as liver will to alcoholic as the lungs to a smoker they will remove themselves from your body and talk to the lord and testify everything you did to them in goodness and in sin.

Getting an inked tattoo is a sin for several reasons.
The ink will be inside your skin and you cannot get it out. Therefore, you will not be purified, and your salat and prayers and Islamic actions will nit be counted towards your deen. Therefore, the tattoo will prevent you from performing salaat, going to mosque or doing any Islamic routines. It makes the body impure.
However, you can get a temporary tattoo that doesn't sink into the skin, but is removable before salaat or whatever else you need to do.

As salaamu 'alaikym warahmatullahi wabaraktu, my friend.
IN the Sunna Hadith, several quotes of the Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, his family and his followers, decries tattoos, women plucking their eyebrows and women filing their teeth.
He said the Allah Subhanna wa Ta'ala had created their beauty and generously bestowed the same upon them and that it was not right therefore to stain that beauty or mar it in any way.
Although the Hadiths in question were directed towards women, it is generally accepted that the same would aply to male Muslims as well.
Ma'a salaam.

Because your body is a gift from Allah and getting a tattoo is saying that you didn't feel that Allah's gift was good enough, you had to try to improve it. I have a couple tattoo's from before I converted to Islam and even though they are nothing too over the top or inappropriate, I still wish I never got them in the first place.

changing in you appearance (permenantly) is considered an objection to the way God created you.... this includes tattoos, breast implants.. face lifts.... what ever... if not for health purposes, then it is not allowed...
besides, WHY, this life is not worth enjoying when you got Heaven to look up to and work for..
(PS. tattoo also harm you and harming yourself is also not allowed)

many people think that the human body is the "temple of god", and that if you defile that by getting a tattoo, that to have defamed the temple of god, and that you are a sinner for doing that. i'm Pagan, and i don't believe that at all, but i do know the beliefs of other religions. i say it''s your body, decorate it however you want, it's yours right now, and you can do with it what you will. But, again, that is just me
