I have about 13 tattoos on various parts of my body. One large piece i have on the outside of my calf has little bumps on the top part of it. It's the only one that ever presents a problem and it's not even the entire tattoo. I have one on the identical spot of my other calf and it's fine too....any advice???

some people react to certain inks. I also have several tattoos and only one of them breaks out and itches. I think it was the older blakck ink that did it. Try some benedryl cream, it takes the itch away and soothes the bunps.

What color is the ink? if the area affected is red, it could be an ink allergy... Red ink does tend to be one that people are commonly allergic to... if it doesn't go away, check with a dermatologist.

Is it a different color ink than the rest? Could be allergic to something in that particular color. Otherwise it may have nothing to do with your tat. See a dermatologist?

It sounds more like a skin problem than a tattoo problem. You should check with a dermatologist.
