If you think you are too shy to get a tattoo because of the area to be done, wait a while. Take your time to be 100% certain that this is what you want. Remember, a tattoo is permanent. You are not getting something that can be easily removed. I have been tattooed several times, but each one I have gotten has taken at least 3-5 months of careful planning and making darn sure that it is exactly what I want and where I want it. It can be somewhat "frightening" to walk into a tattoo shop, but remember this is what they do. They have seen it all I promise you. Good luck and happy inking!!!

If you want it, go for it! Don't use your shyness as an excuse to stop you from doing the things you want to do! You only get one chance at this life, don't waste it by being shy! Who are you shy of? The tattoo artist? They are some of the most friendly, interesting people you will ever meet once you get talking to them. I've never met a tattoo artist I didn't instantly love! They might look a little rough with all the tattoos, but it's just art and nothing to be afraid of. Bring a friend with you if you're feeling very intimidated. Maybe you can get tattoos together. You'll probably find that once you have it you'll be forced to be less shy as well. People will ask you about it all the time. That's why it is important to pick something that really means something to you. The best tattoos have great stories to go along with them and can be the greatest conversation starter a shy guy/gal could ever hope for!

haha i know how you feel i wanted to get one on my back and i also was very shy cuz i was embarassed that the person doing the tattoo was going to look at me without a shirt but i just went in there and did it. i acted like it was nothing. the thing is that he has probably seen worse people than you. so dont worry about it.

No, dont be shy feel cool, chill! Just show off and make your tatoo stylish then people will think your awesome and fab., that's how you rule!! :P

Just go to the tatoo parlor and get one done no biggie, dont try to do one urself its dangerous

why is shyness related to getting a tattoo? if you know what you want and where you want it, just go to a local tattoo shop and talk to em, they're usually pretty nice.
