Tattoos - January 2007

How many is too many on a woman? I have one on my lower back and I want to get another small one but my husband says too many totoos on a woman looks "trashy". What do you think?

what will your grandchildren think when granny is 85 and frail and has tattoos, it doesn't seem right to me, nanas are supposed to be all sweet and light, I don't get it, if my daughter ever had a tatoo i would cry, to cover up a scar maybe, but just on a whim I think I would be very angry and she is 20, I can just about cope with her tongue, but I like the belly button, it's pretty with a crop top. Does anybody else think that tatoos are horrid! men not so bad if they are tasteful, and what about having somebodys name embossed on your body and then they go and dump you!? what then? next boyfriend deals with another mans name permanently in his face? Why do you/they do it.

I read somewhere that if you get an ankle tattoo on the foot/lower ankle portion, because the skin there moves so much, it causes the tattoo to blur and fade. Is this true? Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks!!

Because I'm 14, and I only have about 2 or so more inches to grow. And a coupla months ago I went to a piercing place and the guy said that you should get it done when your done growing. Any one ever heard of anything like this?

I want to get a tattoo, although I probably won't for a few years (underage). But I was wondering what kind of design I should get. And where I should put it. I had 2 sisters that both have tattoos in between their shoulder blades. And I was thinking to get mine there too, but I'm not sure. I'm also thinking about getting a tree of life. See, I'm into natural stuff, like the tree of life, the OM sign, stuff like that. I want something that is deep and spiritual, that means something, not just some butterfly. Help?

Ok i am trying to decide where to get my tattoo, i am planning on getting a japanese themed tattoo (dragon,Koi,flowers, ect.) what i'm trying to decide is where i should get it i have a rather nice body but i can't decide if i want to get it on my arm as a full sleeve or if i want to get it as a peice on my side from my hips up my ribs to my arm pit. There is a little bit of scabbing, and I have been using neosporin, and when I first got it, it didn't even really bleed that bad. I am wondering if it will cause a drastic change in the appearance of the tattoo after two weeks? If so, can it be darkened if I go back to the tattoo parlor? And if I start moisturizing more, could it help at all?
