it will puss a lot if you dont take care of it, as in using PROPER after care...NOT alcohol because that will only dry out your skin, and not hydrogen peroxide, or the cheap crap from Claires Boutique that they sell (cleaning solution for piercings) all that is is basically water...with a funky smell.
here is a link from a HIGHLY reputable association. i would suggest you read it....oh and the second link is something that you should REALLY take into consideration before getting pierced...

If you are old enough to or can get permission go for it. You clean it very carefully with soap in the shower and Neosporn makes a hurt free wash that works wonders, don't put any ointment right on the holes. Some say not to use Neosporn at all but I used some just on the skin around the outside of the holes from my piercings to make the skin less tender at first. It will not make your innie become an outtie or deform it. The piercer will place it so that it's straight and far enough back that it wont migrate as likely. If you still have questions talk to a certified piercer. Do NOT go to any place like Claires, a needle is the safest way and the healing time is cut in about half. You'll do fine. Go for it!

I had mine pierced 4 years ago. I used a sea salt rinse in a shot glass to clean it for the first little while, and after it healed would just clean the jewlery and push it through.
As for deformity, I took mine out last year and I have the ugliest, brownish scar on my stomach just above my belly button. It is slowly going away, but it looks terrible. That is the price you pay, I guess. Having getting it done, the only chance of having a deformity is if your stomach grows a bit, it might begin to settle on an angle, or you might reject it (where the jewellery literally grows out of your skin... it won't heal).
If I could go back, I would have never got it done. Think about it first...

buy a peircing cleening liquid. take an earswab or rag and dip the tip in the solution. NEVER TAKE THE BAR OUT! at least not until the peircing is healed. dab the solution onto the bar and let it run on. it neds to get sompletly soaked. turn the bar and wiggle it a biut so the liquid gets inside your piercing. then dab dry. do this twice a day for a month or two, then it should be ready to take the bar out and you can pick what bars you wear. as for the inny outy thing, it won't deform it, i promise.

I had one last year. The piercing parlor put it in and then told me what to clean it with which was non-iodized sea salt I believe but I cannot really remember. You must wash it with this a few times a day for a few weeks and then it should be fine. After about 6-9 months you can change it to something else.

Use alcohol and peroxide to clean it and you want to clean it a couple times a day. Not to often or it won't heal properly. Also you want to use neosporin on it after you clean it and make sure you move it back and forth when you clean it to get all of the crud out of there and the hole gets cleaned also.
Hope this helps and good luck!

It won't deform you at all. they are a lot of fun. i have hundreds of different rings to match absolutely anything i wear. you can clean it out with warm water and sea salt, or rubbing alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide. just make sure not to catch the ring on anything or it will hurt.

Getting a piercing down there damages your skin. They get infected a lot, and puss comes out. Cleaning it hurts really bad and it stings if it turns bloody. If tou want to get one though, get one! its your own decision. IT doesnt misshape anything, the only bad part is that it can hurt..and when do people se it?!?! NEvER!
