Cost - Prices for laser removal can range anywhere from $250 - 800 or more. Since no one will give you an out-the-door price without seeing the extent of your tattoo, the first thing you should find out is whether or not a consultation will cost you anything. Find out what you have to pay, if anything, just to see the doctor first.
2) Pain - Fortunately, in this day and age, laser removal has become a relatively painless procedure. It doesn't hurt to inquire about it just the same. Everyone has a different pain tolerance and every facility has different policies on how to deal with it. It won't hurt to ask if any kind of anesthesia is used, if there is pain involved.

Laser treatments generally cost between $200 and $800 per visit. Small and homemade tattoos can be charged as low as $50 - $100 per treatment...and i suggest you tell your friend to never get their "friends" name tattooed on their neck again.

It really depends on the size of the tattoo. I think it is charged by the inch. Either way, I heard it is very costly and would probably be easier to cover is with another tattoo of something else.

Unless you are prepared to fork out a ton of money, it will probably be much cheaper to tattoo something over it.
Maybe she will consider NOT getting this new guys name tattooed over it... just in case...

This depends on a lot of factors:
The color of her skin (more difficult on darker skins)
The color of the ink
The depth of the ink
The age of the tattoo
It could take anywhere between 2-12 sessions and costs about $200 a session average depending on the size.

i would pay for a coverup rather than a laser surgery to remove the tattoo. She's also going to end up with scars if u do the laser procedure.

I'll bet it costs a bundle. It might be cheaper to just lop off her head.
