Ok i am trying to decide where to get my tattoo, i am planning on getting a japanese themed tattoo (dragon,Koi,flowers, ect.) what i'm trying to decide is where i should get it i have a rather nice body but i can't decide if i want to get it on my arm as a full sleeve or if i want to get it as a peice on my side from my hips up my ribs to my arm pit. In your opinion what would look the best? What would have the most sex appeal? And include any other input on the topic?

I'd like it on your arm where I could see it better. You wouldn't have to take your shirt off so people could see it.

Japanese tattoos are really intricate and can look awesome if done right. By this I mean it helps to know a little bit about the meaning of certain images such as koi, tiger, dragon and the different flowers.

I would spend time seeking out a tattoo artist who is either Japanese or is experienced with Japanese tattoo art and has a good understanding of Japanese culture.

if i had to chose between the two i would go for the ribcage. even tho it would hurt way more you would be able to see the full tattoo all at one time. when you have a full sleeve of a koi (i have seen quite a few) most of the time the whole koi and all of the beautiful scenery is not visible all at one time. the most important thing is to pick an artist that specialises in japanese style tattoos. mine does if you live anywhere near texas.

Japanese pieces can be very beautiful, as long as they are done right! For me, the arm sleeves are cool, but they don't really do anything for me. I have always thought that back pieces are very cool and very sexy. Whatever you do, make sure you trust the artist who will be doing the tattoo! Have fun!

Arm as a full sleeve and don't worry only narrow minded or paranoid people see a tattoo and automatically think convict.

I think that on your side would be sexier. All of those people who think that all tattoo's are ugly just have no imagination or creativity. It must be pretty boring being them but then again they have to stay busy condemning everybody else for things that they are too afraid to try. Live a little

From what I have seen women seem to prefer the sleeves. I think the one on the side up to your armpit is more of a place you would put one if you were running out of room everywhere else. My Vote is the Sleeve for sure.

I don't look tattooes, all it is drawings on your arms as a sketch book or drawing book . All, it says is that I like to draw dragons or flowers or whatever it is on my body instead of paper. Soon, the people have to write their names as a tattoo in case if they forget your own name . But, that's my opinion . If you want one . A big dragon or 2 dragons look good onthe right arm on your muscle or on the back near the neck.

dont get a sleeve, after a while everything just kind of blends into everything else, and its kind of hard to tell what it is.
