The legal age is 18; before 18, you will need the consent of a parent or guardian. But, besides being 18, the belly should be flat. It looks awful when the belly hangs over the top of the jeans!!

Most states are around 14-16 with parent consent and 18 without. I got my cartilage pierced at 14 with my moms permission. If you want an exact answer check the local law books or call piercing shops to see what they say. A proper shop will tell you the law even if it means they don't make as much. Good luck with that!

if u are under 18, you need a parent to sign a legal document stating that u are getting a piercing...other wise if ur over 18 u can get a piercing with out parent consent.

If you go with a parent age doesn't really matter. If you go by yourself you have to be 18. If you are under 18 as long as your parent signs the slip you can get it done.

You have to be 16 in USA/Canada with your parents permission. And you can go and get it done on your own when your 18.
In England you can have it done any age but you have to have your parent's permission until you're 18.

I think it's 16 with an Adult that is your Parent/Legal Guardian and you both MUST bring Legal Identification! 18 without consent. I think thats across all states! Not sure though! no youger than 16 though!
