Tattoos - January 2007

i dont know what of. i know the location. i want to get one on either of my outer thighs. but i am running out of creative juices to think of what to get. i want them to be pretty large. i already have 2, one tiny one on my foot of the words "just be" and one in the small of my back of a new school sparrow and nautical stars... any tattoo connisuers have any ideas?

I was just wondering, I know people get tattoos that mean something to them, or they get something just because they like it, but what is the point of tattooing your own name on your own skin?

Most people say that it doens't hurt. But how could it not? Its a needle throught your tongue. I want to get one but i'm a little scared. I have a tattoo and a belly button ring, and i handled them ok. So i was wondering how it feels to get your tongue pierced and is it worth it?

What I want is a small, artistic tattoo, in a place that is not that common. What should I get? Is there a site you'd recommend for an example of a tattoo?
And is there a such thing as a 'glow in the dark ink' for a tattoo?

i have had my tattoo for about 6 months. 1 on both arms. on my right arm it is ever so often rising. then it kinda itches. my left arm NEVER does this at all. any doctor i asked has no idea.... please help

i have a tattoo i want removed. i don't really want to get it covered up and laser removal is too expensive. is there any other way? do you think my dermatologist could cut it off? it's not very big. maybe an inch high and half an inch wide.

I am 22 years old and am planning to get a tattoo on my right arm about 6 or 7 inches high enough to hide most of it with regular sleeves. My brother is a talented artist and has created it for me. I have been planning this for a year and taking it to local shops and have been qouted 300$ I want it to represent my innocence. I work as a realtor and am caught between classy and trashy. I don't think it should matter but I know it does affect the line of work I'm in. I don't want to hide it because I want to be proud of it and for it to stop people in their tracks and ask where I had it done.Can a woman still be classy with that size of tattoo?

i think it would be more impressive if you could see the tattoos on Afro-Americans. On darker skin,it hard to see the tattoo.But as far as I know, I have never seen white ink on black or white people.

and im having a little bit of trouble trying to figure out what i want..it is between getting the famous xmen character's face (wolverine) on my lower back (wolverine is my nickname), or a black panther walking on around my ankle area, or getting my flag (blackfoot indian tribe) or a lil native american indian girl on my shoulder...as u can see i have put thought into what i want, but cant decide, because im not getting all three thats for sure! help me out ppl! :)

OK I just got a new tattoo. I have been using the standard A@D ointment and all, but I am not noticing any crust over or peeling. ( its been 3 days) It has alot of color so Im not sure if that slows things down. My other tattoo began peeling within like 2 days so Im not sure if this is normal or not. It is starting to get a slightly roughened texture to it but nuthin like my first one so just curious about if this is all normal.
