I would stay clear of the wolverine tattoo if I were you...that nickname and its value could change.
Go with the panther or the flag (I like that one best)
But if you really like all the ideas, just save your money and get them all!

1) panther are over done. Every other person you see has a panther, leopard or tiger done. It's old.
2) Wolverine is nice especially if your nickname too, but what will it look like on you when you are 50, 60, 70, 80 years old? Take that into consideration.
3) Tats are for you, and you only. They are apart of who you are and what you are trying to portray. ONLY get one if YOU know you'll be happy with it on you forever.
4) Once you get one tattoo, you'll get more. I said the same thing, and I now have 5 and plan on at least another 2 - 4 more.

A tattoo is not something designed to just look "cool" or "edgy." It is something you will carry with you through your entire time on this earth. If you are Native American, it would be hard to go wrong with something reflecting your heritage. I have been tattooing professionally for about 3 years now, and I have done so many panther tattoos it makes me sick. Panthers are like lower back tattoos- they are a passing fad. A tattoo should have nothing to do with fads and everything to do with the soul of their wearer. I'm guessing you're probably young, and this is your first tattoo. You will have the rest of your life to get things like panthers and cartoon characters, and will probably spend a lot of time regretting them. So get something that signifies something that will never change- the strength of the tribe that stands behind you.

i say go for the one that you feel the most strongly about but don't say that you won't be getting all three tattoos because i never thought i would have as many tattoos or that they would be as big as they are. also be sure that you go to a good tattoo artist. not just some whoever down the street that has a shop that looks clean. do some research on your artist. if the tattoos they have done don't impress you then you should walk away. there is nothing worse than having a bad tattoo.

I would love to see the Blackfoot flag. I myself am Blackfoot indian and have yet to find alot about them. Where did you find their flag? Personally I think that you should get the Flag that represents who you are and where you come from.
Hope this helps and happy tattooing!

you should consider a few things first.. how much time you are willing to invest? how much money? who the artist will be? considering that some specialize in tribal and some in duplicating characters. Make sure you look at they're portfolio if they don't have one that's a good indication they haven't been tattooing long.. also consider your pain thresh hold.. around the ankle will hurt because you will be tattooing the bone area.. back area hurts about the same.. good luck

First you have to be 18 or have your parents consent, you need to think more on it, and come up with what you really want, remember it will be there forever, i know what your thinking, what does this old lady know about tattoo's? I have 10 of them and love them, I'm in my 60's and plan on just one more.I want a family tree with the names of my 9 grand kids and 2 great grand kids on it.

If you consider a tattoo as an investment, then you are too immature for a tattoo.
