Uhh, if you want to become a priest I wouldn't reccomend it. But if its not noticeable, like on your ankle, then sure- why not?

I do not know. I am assuming they cannot as there is a belief that is proven in endless verse in the bible that your body is a temple and I would assume that putting tattoos on your body would be viewed as not treating it as a temple. I know some people put them and get them because there body is a temple. It all depends what you look at it and how you view tattoos but the catholic church is not the most logical.........If you get a temporary one I think it would be fine......Catholic priest community get together.....With tattoos of Christ would be a hoot......Everyone needs to have some fun sometimes....I am also pretty sure that there are people who have become priests but had a different life style before and I do not imagine they would be forced to get it removed.........Interesting question. Let me just find the Pope's MSN address, I am sure I blocked it a few times, let me get back to you on that.

I'm now a preparatory on my seminary formation here at the Philippines Bacolod City . They accepted me here at the seminary even I have visible tattoos and I look like an ex-convict. They don't look the outer appearance of a person what is essential is the inner beauty of a person.
