My hair is really thick, but I don't want to get it professionally thinned. I have heard that washing you hair in egg whites can naturally thin out your hair a little. Is this true? Thanks!

well my hair was blonde but my natural was brunette and i had to die over it a darker brown and it came out really dark like blackish.. any ideas on how i can get it a little lighter at my house without going to a hair saloon?

Ok. im a boy and im plannig to let my hair grow. i have bad hair and i know that if i let it grow it would grow like an afro but i dont want it like an afro i want it to come down . i got a relaxser before but it just made my hair worse and nappy. any sugestions in how to make my hair grow down? my hair is kinda like this http://www.salonsofamerica.com/salonarea/photos/res_921105389807.jpg ( not me! just a google picture)

I've purchased at least 6 or more - probably closer to 10 different hair pieces - mainly from Sally's Beauty Supply but also from other places. I purchase the appropriate fake hair shampoo and conditioner. When I first get them they're soft and shiny but after wearing them for a little while they get "matted" underneath and forget trying to comb them out - then they frizz. The shampoo and conditioner is worthless. So as a result I get one and wear it for a couple of months maybe until it gets looking icky and then have to purchase another one --- what's up with that? Does anyone know?

I've seen how they part your hair and somehow those clips clip it in so it lays flat against your head but that's assuming your hair goes over it to cover up the part that's attached. But some of these pictures I see --- like Paris Hilton and others it's all one length --- there's no shorter style on top - like a layered look or whatever that would cover it up. I was also curious how those clips work. Thanks a lot

I had my hair bleached with a 10 volume bleach at a salon, to lighten my semi-permanent dark hair color a shade, and then a medium reddish blonde was deposited. The ends of my hair feel a bit scraggly, and straw like if I don't blow dry my hair thoroughly. I use plently of conditioner, and leave it on for a few minutes to let the conditioner do it's job. Is there any specific products I should be using to strengthen and soften my hair again?

Im a guy and have somewhat long hair, not super long, on the sides its about an inch from my jaw and in the back it goes to the bottom of my neck.
