You should do it like this:

1. put the oil in a cup.
2. fill a BIGGER cup halfway fill with boiling water.
3. float the small cup in the bigger cup. DON'T let the oil spill.
4. Let it heat up for a minute or two
5. spread the hot oil in your hair
6. wrap your hair up with saran wrap
7. leave in for at least 10 minutes (go wherever)
8. rinse out, then use shampoo.

Ooohh! that sound like a good idea! I've heard though, if you put olive oil in the microwave for like a few seconds (if it's too long, it'll get really hot and burn your hair!!) and then take it out and let it set on your hair that works as a good hot oil treatment. I don't know about a sauna...but it sounds good too. It just may not get the oil in your hair hot enough

Olive oil is a well moisturizer for the hair, however olive oil at very prime temperature will get broken for this reason leading to little to no advantage until u similar to the style of deep fried... Just kidin. So my thought is heating it at the range for a couple of seconds. I placed a few further virgin natural olive oil in a spoon and location it over the flame for a couple of seconds adequate to get it moderately hot. IMHO, warming in a microwave will harm the oil. Coconut oil alternatively handles warmth very good.

I have a friend - he was professional hair sylist and that is what he told me to use on my hair. He said not to put it on the root area but rather where it starts to need some help and put more on the ends. You can heat it up if you like (like putting on one of those hair caps designed to take heat and then putting a blow dryer on it) or you can just let it sit on your hair for a while and then just go wash it like you normally would. It works pretty well but there are so many products out there now that are designed for specific types of hair that, unless you need to watch expenses, would probably be a better option since it can be tailored to your hair type.

To heat it up I would put it in a coffee cup and nuke it. Check to make sure it's not too hot!
