My hair is really thick, but I don't want to get it professionally thinned. I have heard that washing you hair in egg whites can naturally thin out your hair a little. Is this true? Thanks!

No that is not true.
We don't thin out hair we texturize it and take out the bulk.
Seeing your hairstylist is the only way.
However if you find that they are not doing that than find someone who can. It's an art form and not everyone will do it the same way as someone else. This should always last till your next hair cut.
Good Luck

Thick hair is best! If you don't already, get some nice choppy layers cut in by your hairdresser... This makes hair look and feel a little thinner but will also look alot nicer and give your hair alot more style!

Thicker hair gives your hair more "body", it'll look alot more stylish and you can get away with a lot more cuts, nobody really wants thin hair. Feel happy and lucky that you have thick hair!

I know its not answering your question though - Sorry x x

TRUST ME--you do not want thin hair.
Egg whites make your hair shiny, not thin.
I hate it when people with beautiful thick hair think it's "bushy" or something and get it thinned. It is SUCH a waste. A lot of people would KILL to have thick hair.

Even if it's frizzy or rough or whatever, it's still better than 1-centimeter thick Paris Hilton-style hair. YUCK.

I don't think so, but that is gross anyway . Why do you want thin hair?? Thick hair looks great everyone likes it .

Egg whites are a protein. I can only assume this would strengthen your hair and in turn make it thicker.
