im asian but with natural brown hair.. my skin is more on the yellowish olive tone .. would jet black look nice?

Anyone ever had highlights at a Super Cuts, Fantastic Sams,or Pro Cuts type place before? If so, how did it compare to the more expensive salons?
I'm considering having it done because it'll be about $50 cheaper and I figure, how hard can it be? I mean, I know plenty of people who do decent highlights at home.
But I'm wanting to get advice from someone who has used a lesser expensive salon.
Good or bad experiences will be appreciated. Thank you!

I don't have a whole wad, just a little piece clumping a little chunk of hair together.

I want to get rid of all the un wanted tones i have right now

Well, I was thinking about dying my hair Black
and then Brown with a base of yellow.
If I dyed it black would the Red and Orange
go threw?

Would it cancel out what I have?
And go Drk?

I switched from garnier fruticis sleek and shine to Dove.

i have frizzys at the top of my hear at the front like pubic hairs and they really stick out. . .i try using gel and moose but they dont keep them down. . .im really sad and im on a tight budget.. .does anyone know a cheap product that makes them un-frizz, even short-term, PLEASE help. . .

I'm japanese. i have black hair about 4 inchs below my shoulder. i have layers and short side swept bangs. i'm in the 7th grade. Tomorrow is wacky hair day and i have no idea what to do! I dyed my hair black, on 2 years ago and it still hasnt come out. I've used special blonde shampoo and conditioner that is meant to clean the impurities from the hair, whether it's naturally blonde or dyed blonde, and although it's gradually been getting lighter, i guess all things fade with time, it hasnt completely washed out. I remember when it was blonde the more often i went swimming at the beach, the blonder my hair would become. But i have not yet been swimming at the beach. Something about the salt water and the sun. Any other suggestions as i['m not a real beach/sun .

i need help finding the name of a haircut my friend told me its called the devils line but i looked and i cant find it well ill tell u how it is (sorry if im not expecific i just dont know how to explain it) well you shave your head (not bald) and like the lines on your back front and sides are not as shaved as the whole head so it makes it look darker and thats all i can say...sorry im not being expecific.

before my hair were as best as any other........i had bold, thick dark black hair
and now i guess becuase of use of hair gel though i am still not sure, my hair have started falling too much..
