in the space of 2 days the hair at the sides and back of my head has become greasy/crispy/sticky. all but the top layer is affected and the effect is that of having lots of sticky hairspray stuck in the hair. it is seperated into greasy strands and feels this way even when wet during a wash. i dont use any products on my hair and it isnt coloured. i havent changed my routine for at least a year. have tried thoroughly rinsing it after washing, as at first i assumed i hadnt washed all the conditioner out. what is this and what can i do to restore it to normal?

I have curly hair, and when it's wet it looks very nice, frizz-free, etc...But whenever it dries, no matter how dilligent I am with either letting it air-dry or putting in gels/mousses and drying it with a diffuser, a few hours later it becomes frizzy again and gets tangly. I'm tired of damaging it with straightening irons, so I would like to just work with my naturally curly hair and get it to look good. What gels, mousses/etc...make curly hair look nice, frizz free and hold the curls? Please include only those products you've used yourself and know from experience that they work, or know someone who they worked for. Please, don't just include a product you saw on TV or in the magazine...I have about 30 different gells, mousses, and hair creams that I've bought that were supposed to tame curly frizzy hair but none of them work well and I'm frustrated. Please share your advice.

Why did they have to discontinue "Salon Selectives" hair products? I've been using it since it first came out. I don't know what to do. I hate all of the other products!!! The moose & hairspray worked so well in my hair. I have bad frizzy curly hair and now its going to frizz out and I'm going to look like a dam clown! Anyone know of any good products that can stand up to "Salon Selectives"?

I recently had my dark brown hair highlighted 2 shades of blonde on the T section. I don't like it - it looks ok but its not really me so hence I want to turn them a chocolate brown to blend in better with my dark hair, only problem is I have spent all my money on having them put back in! I have spoken to Clairol and another well know hair dye company and have been told slightly different methods of changing it. The first being buy the most radiant red semi permanant dye I can find, slap it on then use a medium brown on top although she did warn me of the khaki effect, the other lady was like no dont put a red on at all just ise a permanent darker blonde like a caramel or honey blonde to tone it down, My hair is dry and horrible and I was stupid to do it in the first place but I really need it to be nice and shiny again for xmas. Believe me aint going to get no kisses under the mistletoe looking like this!

My natural hair is black, thick and straight (Indian Hair). I dyed it brown (its a dark brown on my hair) using Feria's Iced Mocha (Light Iridescent Brown) and now I want to go to a lighter brown. How will my hair turn out if I use Feria's Shimmering Sands (dark blonde)? How long should I leave it on since my hair is so dark? Is there any at home alternative? Please help thanks!

My husband and I disagree that all women have a "happy trail" starting just below their belly button and going down to join with the pubic hair. I say yes and he says no. Would you please help settle the score?
