Right now you still have different dye pigments in your hair, so it won't go the right colour if you dye it. Most likely it will turn orangey or brassy or too yellow. Go to the salon and get it color corrected or highlighted. If You are going to do it yourself, you have to use an ash blonde or neutral blond over it. This may help negate the red that is in your hair. Ask the cosmetician for help. PS ash never turns green on me which is what people say, unless you are using med or dark blonde then there's a chance.

I used chamomile tea and or a lemon rinse almost everyday to rinse my hair but the difference was very subtle that I would not say it made my hair blonde. The only way to change the color of your hair is with dyes however there are many natural organic hair dyes in the market now that can be purchased at Whole Foods or the internet that are excellent and will do the job without those harsh chemicals. I hope your mom feels better and wish her much health. Take good care.

Nature seldom creates mistakes in matching hair color to skin tone so if you are naturally a blonde, then it should look good if you color your hair as close to the original color as possible. Sometimes, however, our hair changes color of its own accord - as in the many people who were blonde as children and are now brunettes. If you hair has darkened (check the roots) since you've been coloring it, you might want to go with heavy blonde highlights instead of an all over color so it will not be so noticible as it grows out. While you can color your hair yourself with any of the many fine hair color brands available, if your hair is damaged from coloring or you have a build up from coloring, you might want to have a professional fix the problem you are experiencing ... especially since red is practically impossible to color over successfully. As the new color fades, the red will 'bleed through' which is a caution you should consider for the future if you decide you don't like being blonde again. Red is the hardest color to change if you used permanent color when you went to red.

SAME HERE. I decided i'd go blonder this time, cause I allways used redish and brownish. But I just couldn't figure my self in lighter hair, so I decided to put in highlights my self this Weekend. Maybe I'll darken my buttom hair a little bit yet too, with my husbands leftover hair color :-)
But this is not something if u r a model. That's just me ;-)
Good Luck!

Whether it will look good or not I think if you are thinking about it you should do it. My hair was all 4 colors in one year! They were all great in different ways. Go for it!

Just don't do it yourself it always looks like crap. Go to a nice salon and pay the money and you'll look good.
