My natural hair is black, thick and straight (Indian Hair). I dyed it brown (its a dark brown on my hair) using Feria's Iced Mocha (Light Iridescent Brown) and now I want to go to a lighter brown. How will my hair turn out if I use Feria's Shimmering Sands (dark blonde)? How long should I leave it on since my hair is so dark? Is there any at home alternative? Please help thanks!

go to a pro hairdresser for some advice. or, ask for a full head of light brown highlights for a softer change. every time you have more your hair will get gradually lighter and lighter. this is healthier for your hair than a dramatic change too. hope that helps :)

You have to very careful when lightening your hair because you can end up with orange reddish hair and that will be really hard to correct. I would put some blonde highlights in to give it a lighter brown effect or maybe just invest in a good stylist. That would be the safest way.

I have naturally dark hair. To use lighter dye I had to have a professional use a technique called lifting. If all else fails you can bleach it.

Moving on the color spectrum from dark to light is NOT dye, it is color removal . . . it is bleaching, dye adds color and would make you a darker brown or add another color like black or blue ?

USE A LIGHTER TINT IN EITHER RED OR BLOND AND THAT WILL LIGHTEN YOUR HAIR. I DO IT ALL OF THE TIME.
