My husband and I disagree that all women have a "happy trail" starting just below their belly button and going down to join with the pubic hair. I say yes and he says no. Would you please help settle the score?

I say your husband has seen more women's bellybuttons than you have, or at least watched them more intently.

I haven't made a study of the intimate areas of several thousand women (though I would be happy to volunteer for the position! :-), but in my admittedly limited experience with the "happy trail," only about 20% of the women I've been intimate with have been so equipped.

Now, technically of course, there is hair on most of a human being's skin. But in 70% to 80% of the women with whom I've been close enough to observe, there's no noticeable hair between the navel and the top of the pubic hair -- certainly no more than, say, on their rib cage or their hip bones.

It all depends on the woman's hormones and family. Some women have darker, coarser hair than others. If a woman has blonde hair then her 'happy trail' will be blonde and less noticeable. But when a woman has dark hair then you will be able to see it, whether it be on her legs, arms, underarms or belly. And if a woman has one, she probably shaves it so most men wouldn't know it if a woman had one or not.

Ok so I honestly dont think that all women have a happy trail. Some people dont grow hair on their stomachs. Im talking guys and girls it just really all depends on your body. I will say that a lot of girls who do have happy trails shave them because they just dont like them or because their boyfriend doesnt like it. Youll see a lot of that these days. So im not sure if im any help at all but thats just what I know.

Lets keep it at that its not abnormal for a woman to have a "happy trail" for some women have that genetic trait but most just have pubic hair or none at all it all depends on the women's traits and how she keeps it done.

I personally don't have a "happy trail", but I have heard that hormonal changes can affect the amount of hair on a woman's body as well as how dark it is. For example, when a woman is pregnant she might get a temporary "happy trail" due to the hormonal changes in her body.

Most statements with ALL in it are questionable- since there are so many variables of any given subject. No, ALL women do not have this, but calling it a happy trail is sort of amusing- I'd never heard this before.

I have seen both. From a "Happy Trail" to no trail and sometimes a little hard to see fuzzy trail. Also, an older woman may have one, when she did not at a younger age.

I wish I could agree with you on this one, but your husband is right. I do not have a "happy trail", nor do most of the women that I know. I would say only about 2 out of 30 of my friends have a "happy trail".
Sorry I couldn't help you win the bet.

Everyone has hair there, just like the rest of their bodies. The only difference is going to be how thick or dark it is. For some people, you can't see it at all, because it's super fine and/or blonde.

Some women also go crazy shaving and waxing, so yeah, they don't appear to have hair there, but it does grow there naturally.

Everyone does, woman and men. Of course guys hair is longer and way darker. There are some woman that have softer, light hair, hardly seen, unless looked closely. Then there are other woman who have a darker hair, and the lil hairs on the tummy can be seen. I pluck any give away hairs with an eyebrow plucker. Thankfully I dont have alot. Ive known woman to buy bleach facial creams and dye the hair, blond. It works.
