Yes...You can totally pull of short hair ,but make sure its below the chin slightly with layers, add bangs for a nice whispy look it dempahizes your roundness of your face shape...I hope that helped

Unfortunately short hair is not good for a round face...trust me, I have struggled with this for years. I have thick, wavey hair as well so I have to just let mine grow long...but, if you have straight hair...try some long layers that frame the face as this cut tends to break up the roundness of the features a bit.

Good luck...

Round faces are characterized by roundness at the cheeks and being the heaviest near the ears. Your hairstyle should slim your face. You can do this by wearing height at the crown of your hair and keeping your sides close to your face. Side bangs work best.

Avoid:
Pulled back styles without any hair touching your face
Styles that add width to the side of your face
Straight bangs that will shorten your face

Do you mean face shape? If thats the case, then you shouldn't go any shorter than chin length. Also layers will help make your face slimmer. There are some photos of different styles for short hair on about.com. The link is below. Good luck!

Well, if you have a round head I recommend a face frame with layers and maybe some bangs.

If you do, I would not recommend a chin-length bob or similar. It would give the appearance of a fatter face.

If you're looking for ideas, try these sites:

This one has long-to-short makeovers:

And this one has a variety of short styles, from shoulder-length to asymmetrical to bald:

They may take a few minutes to load as they are pic-heave, so be patient.

Good luck!
