My hair is long, highlighted, smooth, THIN, and it won't stop falling out! no matter what I do, it's always flat. I need volume, but nothing works!

P.S.- Its VERY straight and I straighten it. I don't use conditioner (because it's naturally oily), and I blowdry it at an angle. still no luck.

You could spend a fortune on hair products, like these other answers say. OR go to the beauty shop and have your hair layered and texturized. It's awesome. I bleach my hair so I can't get a perm, so I have them cut it for volume. You'd be amazed at what they can do with it without making it shorter! Good Luck!

I have fine, limp hair too.... and one word for you, volume!
So, your hair/scalp falls in which category: Oily, Dry, Normal?
For oily (which is same as mine) ..... I recommend washing it daily, as the oil in your hair/ scalp tends to trap the dirt and grime from outdoors, wash it with volumising shampoos and use light conditioning (cause heavy conditionding cause your hair to fall flat) and blow dry your hair by tilting your head upside down. It's always best if you could use a little volumising mouse for some serious volume....
As for dry, only wash it when you feel it's needed And use some light conditioning too (use recommended conditioners for dry/damaged hair.)...but only to your hair, NOT scalp. When blow drying ...you could use the same head tilting like the one mentioned above .....but only using the Cool Air, not HOT, or else you will risk your hair to be even dry and damage.
As for normal hair, try justifying for yourself....usually, normal hair requires minimal conditioning due to the even oil distribution in the scalp......but conditioning always help to achieve a better shine for your hair. So, when choosing a conditioner for your hair, you gotta be a little picky for it and try asking your hairstylist to recommend some good ones to you.
And by the way....try to minimise the styling of your hair, or else you'll risk more hair falls than you had now.....and try to have some hair treatment for your scalp to achieve a better result of your hair.
If your have been styling your hair often....Your hair NEEDS some pampering now and then, ....even some scalp massage helps to promote circulation of blood in your scalp......you could do a simple 5-10 minutes scalp massage youself everyday to help it if you want.
If any case that you have a serious hair fall condition, give your local dermotologist a visit, do it soon before it's too late.

try curling it. with your long hair it might take a while longer, but itll make your hair look fuller. also if u think ud look good with darker hair, try it. lighter hair colors tend to look thinner on most people.
