I want to become an actress but i am a competition cheerleader my parents dont have that much money right now what do i do?

In the movie rent, i understand that mimi dies and comes back to life, but i was wondering if she ends up really dying or living in the actual musical. Your answers are greatly appreciated.

I had my first film audition sunday the 8th, and it went extremely well. I'm wondering though how long is it for a call back or a final call letting you know you received the part? Normally with theater it's within about 2 days but with film I'm not sure. Some extra info- I'm not union but this was for a union film. I was not local (audition was in Hollywood) but I flew out for the audition and have places to stay for filming should I get the part. Thanks!

I live in the new york city area and really want to become an extra in a movie or tv show so i call up the postings they have in the Village Voice Paper and they are usually 800 numbers so i call and they always ask me to pay after I have given my address and phone number even when I ask in the beginning is this a paid service and they always say no and then at the end of the call ask for my credit information . What do i do to become a paid extra?

well can anyone give me any info on what UCLA is like ?
is it worth going to?
would i actually be able to pursue my an acting career and be a better actress?
will i be succesfull in the acting buisness ?
i know im asking alot cause im really curious.
i would like to go there and would want to major in theater.
and yes i actually can act. and please no discouraging and saying that its impossible for me to get in.
im really young anyways and still have a long ways to go.
im in 8th grade.

Yea,ok so i tok drama class!My teacher says im an good dedicated actress...But the problem is,she didnt like me,so she failed me!Yea and she knew i didnt like her becuz she didnt like me!i got an either a A or B in all my assignments,and she still have me a F,on my report card!Yea,i am dedicated and will do whatever it take to fulfill my dream.Do you think if someone looked at those records,and i told them i am very on the job and dedicated,that they will believe me and decided to give me a chance?Or do you think that they will not check me out?I need answer plz!

I’m very excited to return to Broadway this fall in the new Mel Brooks musical Young Frankenstein.

The first Broadway show I ever saw was the original production of “Chicago" with Gwen Verdon and Chita Rivera (1975).

The first musical that I had a role in that had a major impact on me was "Petra" in "A Little Night Music" my freshman year at Northwestern. I had never really acted before, and a girl in the cast (a sophomore) suggested that I "make friends" with my character. It has worked for me ever since!

everyone whos heard me sing says I have great potential and that I would be great if I had voice lessons. My #1 dream is to be on broadway and you cant do that without an amazing voice. so how do i find a good voice teacher? ive already tried the yellow pages. they only offer training for instruments.

I've heard that when you are starting in acting and you are really serious about it, you have to start by taking one or two jobs at a local theatre. That's what gets you going. I've searched in alot of places, but I've only found the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millsburn, NJ and Bickford theatre in Morristown, NJ. They're both great, but they're not hosting any auditions for teens right now. It's summer and I reaaly want to do something to imporve my progress. Can anyone list a few theatres, please?

I need some help memorizing my lines my 2pm. Im really famillar w/ this scene.

The first no script rehersal for Act one is today for Jungle Book The Musical.

In the scene we have today i have about 15-19 lines. How can have thses meroized by 2 pm?

Also how can i not feel sick during reheresal because im sick right now. Stomach aches,my time of month, and my dizzy spell.s
