Should the character be played by a girl, or a very young boy? Broadway cast a girl.... I've sung pretty much the whole part(mezzo sop/alto).... I'm helping with a production of it next spring, but the directors and I aren't quite sure yet how to cast the role....

My dream is to act on the small screen or the big screen my dad takes me to the movies every week so I can get the gist of how they act in the big times. I stole the show in our last years Christmas play, and for two weeks after all I heard from the teachers was "Oh Samantha, you were so great in the Christmas play"

I will be auditioning for commercials, television shows (sitcoms) and feature films.

I will also need monologues for agent interviews.

I am having trouble relating to Monologues like Shakesphere and those from that time. They are not focused on the African American Life. I can't relate to tea time and such (It's true.)

I really need monologues for young black women. This way I can pull my life's struggles and energy and protray a similar character.

If anyone can help. I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok heres the deal... I LOVE ACTING!!! Its the air I breathe... without it I would egisit!

Now that you know that you can help me. I really want to go to all of these drama camps and workshops but mum can't afford it.... money has always been a problem.

I'm 14 and I'm seeing if I can get a job but i think i have to be 14 and 8 months. Does anyone know anything I could do (thats cheap) that i could do to raise money.

I live in Brisbane so if anyone knows about any courses, camps or workshops id like to know aswell as how i can get money to followw my dreams.

BTW: the workshops and stuff cost about 450 or so dollars... normally more than that. :(

Please help!!

I'm 13 and I love to act. I want to get serious and become a well-known actress. The problem is I don't know where to start. I've looked for acting classes, but I don't live anywhere close to them. well, i wanted 2 be an actress but my grandpa said that wouldnt happen because we are poor. i didnt believe him at first but then i started thinking about it. miley cyrus has a rich dad, and i was thinking of all kinds of stars and they all either had money or a famous person in the family already, such as emma roberts. and then i tried to get an acting agency and they wanted $75 just for an audition and almost 3 thousand dollars for me to go 2 some "competition". the only person i can think of is ashley tisdale, they just came up 2 her. well, do you think this is true?
