Hmmm. There's an earlier answer there which seems a bit off. I could be wrong but I do believe there a few states in between NY and LA which need models.

As to the 1st two being scams... I don't know either way.

I'd say the best way to check out an agency is by finding out who the rep and seeing if they're actually working or not.

Another point is that if they want you to pay for representation than it's a scam. I've never heard of a legit agency who charges people to rep them. That's a BIG test.

There may be more work in LA or NY but that isn't to say that there's NO work anywhere in between. For instance, there's a very large acting community in Toronto. I know a lot of working actors who are my clients up there.

Also, watch out for a contract scam. For instance make sure they're not going to lock you in to something you can't get out of. You should be able to fire an agent if they're not working for you.

Also, dictionary.com the word agent and see what it says. It paints an interesting picture of what they should be doing.

Neither of them are legitimate Modeling Agencies. They are scams that learned that most people can't tell the difference between reality and scam.

The ONLY legitimate Modeling Agencies are in New York City and Los Angeles.

If you want to model you must live in NYC.

The requirements for a professional model in NYC is 5'9" tall and weigh 165 pounds.
