Okey dokey, here's my advice:
1. You put together a resume with REAL credits (Homemade movies don't count!!)
2. You get headshots done by a GOOD, WELL KNOWN photographer (not a brother or sister)
3. You search on the internet, in the phonebooks and so on
4. You audition for an agent
5. If the agent likes you, then you sign with them
6. The agent will find auditions that best suit you
BUT, before all of this, you need a plan. You can't just move out there and expect this to happen. That's what tons of people do, and they get no where. Make sure you have the money, a job, and make sure this is REALLY what you want to do. While you're still in school, try joing the community theater to get some credits. Make sure you want to go to LA to ACT, and not just for fame and money because 95% of the time, that doesn't happen. Good luck!

1.
Study acting.
2.
Audition for theater and independent and student films.
3.
Book some roles. Become a member of the acting community.
4.
Once you're plart of the community, you'll have lots of actor friends who know the local scene. By the way, legit agencies do have websites in most states, and there will be local acting websites that list local resources, including agents. In Texas, agents must register with the state, and you can get a list on a Texas website.
5.
Get an agent in the city you're in. Book work in Atlanta, or Austin, or Chicago, or some city with an acting community.
6.
When you are a woking actor in a smaller market, THEN you have the skills to tackle Los Angeles. Unless you are phenomonally attractive, or a completely unheard-of natural talent, hone your skills in a town that is safer and more supportive than LA. LA chews people up and spits them out every.03 seconds - I've seen it happen to freinds.

There are no exact steps...it's a different path for everyone, and totally depends on your personal talent. Right now, you can do a google search for talent agents in your state to see what's available. If you DO move to Hollywood, having a bit of experience already will be a huge help. Get involved in community theater, that sort of thing, to hone your talent.
A screenplay is the script version of a movie...it's written in "play" form just like a theater script, but arranged in a certain way for the director.

The EXACT steps are NOT the same in every city. You must find the EXACT steps that must be followed in the city WHERE YOU LIVE! Not where someone else lives.
(1) Ask your acting teacher, (2) ask your actor friends
(3) Agents work with actors that have a lot of acting roles on their resume, preferably LEAD roles (4)
preferably on the Regional Theater Circuit, (5) Websites will not help you because legitimate Talent Agents are not allowed, by STATE law, to have a website, because it is
considered advertising.

Arrive ready to work at the professional level. Agents only sign people because they think they can make money with them. You need to be a good actor. Study and practice as much as you can where you are. There are no foolproof steps to take that will guarantee you an agent. It's good you want to prepare. Now prepare! Luck.

precisely - a week, I sweep then I purely slosh a soapy mop around the floor and then I rinse the floor. as quickly as a month I sweep the floor I then use a thick bath towel on the floor for my knees - use warm pine sol water and scrub the floor paying particular interest to the corners and base board section. on account that i'm down there any way I wash the baseboard and get the airborne dirt and dust boost off of them. satisfied cleansing
