Does every actor even the one with small rolls get a trailor like the person with an extra role?

sigh. acting acting acting... it is hard to break into acting. I have a few acting books and a million movies. I learned new things. I thought that in order to be like the character you have to imitate the actor a lot & look at their moves & do what they do & how they laugh smile etc. If you're a great imitator than that works well for you. but I have also learned that in order to be this character you can't just imitate him/her you have to be him/her. You have to understand him/her and go into research about them sometimes it takes weeks or months to get into character you have to convince yourself that you are that person.. and i sort of use Angelina Jolie's way of doing it. For example she doesn't try to fake herself when she acts. she only eliminates the part of her that doesn't fit with the character because she truly is the character. If you can truly play someone that person is a part of you already you just have to find them and ignore every other part of you that is not needed

Anyone with any experience with these stage props? They
are expensive enough that I don't want to get it wrong when
staging a fight scene. How easily do they really shatter?
Any hidden dangers I wouldn't know about? Thanks for the
help!

I'm wanting to go to college to study Drama, well, actually they call it "Speech Communications Concentration" but it's basically Drama... LOL...
Anyway, I won't be going this fall, but next, so I was wondering if there were any sites with stuff reguarding Drama/Acting... Like "voice projection", "how to write plays", "becoming your character", that sort of thing so that I can be better prepared for college...

Advice and links appreciated!

Have heard of Thurman E Scott's classes thru the Actors Theatre Workshop and just wanted to know if anyone who has taken these classes can provide feedback. Or if anyone knows anything in general about Scott's reputation as instructor.

Dear Tyra,

I thank God for creating people like you who help people achieve there dreams. May the good Lord Almighty with his indefinite mercy continue to bless and grant you long life, Amen!

I’m a professional script writer residing in South Africa. I have written a lot of scripts that I believe will make an impact in the international movie industry. I would appreciate it if you would make my dream come through by linking me to international producers, I promise it’s worth it.

I look forward to receive a favorable respond.

I have an idea about a new show and I am going to talk to a producer in California. Does anybody know what goes on? Like do they need a studio or do they have a director there? Do I need to talk a studio where the show would air?

For example, in an interview Shia Lebeouf did for Transformers, he mentioned that he had 2 days off after he finished filming his other movie "Disturbia" and then he went straight into filming his recent new movie "Transformers" saying he was fresh and ready to go. And it kind of made me think how do these actors are able to take time to memorize all their lines in a script in such a little amount of time. Especially when they are the lead characters in the movie. Any ideas, theory, asumptions?

First, I'm 13. I know it's young to be dreaming of Broadway, but my friend just went off to Broadway at 12 as Young Tarzan in Tarzan, and I figured, if he can, I can. I'm incredibly driven, I have a supportive family, and I am very talented. I just need to know the basics.

I've been acting in community theatres and some proffesional non-equity theatres for a while now, I've heard about equity cards, and don't really understand them. Do you work in proffesional theatre to earn points so you can get equity or do you get equity and then earn points so you can use them? And how do you find out about auditions for Broadway and off-Broadway shows? What are good mailing lists to find these things?

ANY help would be much appreciated. (Please don't try to discourage me. I know what reality is.)

Do you want to know how to succeed in Hollywood, on Broadway, in selling you screenplay or TV ideas? I'm curious. Do you, or are you already fine with your life, as it is, and think all that stuff is over-rated?

I have a lot of experience acting and I want to get serious, but I don't know where to start...somebody said John Robert Powers is a ripoff, so I wanted to know what other people thought.
I am thinking about going with Showbiz Ltd...is that a good company? I can't think of another way to get a good agent without using a company.

Okay, I have general auditions coming up very soon, and I need two contrasting monologues. Meaning one should be serious and one comical, or even uplifting. I've been thinking for the comical one, a short Shakespeare or Wilde and for the serious, a modern one, even from a movie, maybe? Or a well-known play? If any of you could give me some suggestions on which monologues to try, it would be great! Thanks so much!
