Theater & Acting - April 2007

I've been offered an ushering job through this casting website I work with and Im trying to figure out if my next (possible) job is through a legitimate company or not. I can't find any info on them. They say they worked with
"Miss Malaika International,Miss Hawaiian Tropic Intl Pageant show,Sisi Oge Of cuba,and miss bikini,miss swimsuit"

Has anyone else ever heard or know of this company. I don't want to get myself into a bad situation!

They say the show will be somewhere in New Jersey April 22-25...if thats helps.

i need to know how to make myself cry because i have a part in a play were i have to be absolutely crying my eyes out. i dont know how to do it. i cant do anything obvious like fluck out a nose hair or put onions in my eyes and i dont have any bad memories, i dont think, SO WHAT SHALL I DO thanks xxx

Hi- I'm doig a performance at school and I need to be able to cry- but real tears and I know that there is something you can buy that makes you cry. I think you might put it under your eyes or something and it makes your eyes water. Its just that I really need to cry to make the performance effective and I can't seem to be able to cry. Thanks x

I am moving to LA to further my career as an actor (Please Note: I am not one of these who is going there to become a 'star' after only a few years or summat, I am serious). I am eager to find volunteer telented people, willing to teach/learn acting skills while creating an experimental acting team. They must be natural, able to read, write, memorize, and improvise. They will also need to have very creative mind to write or contribute to a play, and not willing to request a payment until a team is officially set and operating as an organization. This sounds more like a job offer, but it is just an outreach to those with the same American Dream as mine. If you may have the same sentiments, and view of a possible success, you may plan to further the contact.

Ok, heres the thing...I watch TV, and am sometimes enraged with the people I see on TV commercials. I get angry because I know I can do exactly what they are doing...even better. I cant believe some of the people that get the chance to be in a commercial and I think to myself, Im not as bad as that person. So I wonder, can I actually make it onto a TV commercial? Im not that bad looking from what Ive been told, but I am still light years away from looks such as Brad Pitts. As I wrote already, I have no portfolio of past work because I have never really acted. So is it possible for someone like me to attempt to get into TV commercials? I mean with todays horrible actors and crappys TV show hosts, I think I seriously have a chance. If your wondering what crappy hosts Im talking about, look no further than the G4 channel...Them and many others like VJs on MTV are so boring and talentless and just...retarded. They are my inspiration. So what should I do to try and get into TV commercials
