Theater & Acting - April 2007

Well my best friend does the voice of Dora the Explore.
I have been to the studio with her and premiers and love the environment!
She had showed me how to do the whole voice thing and I have gottin really good at it!

I want to ask her if it would be ok if I started Voice Acting but don’t want to keel like im stepping on her feet or fame.

What should I do....

Hi, I am in a bit of a wrestling match with my two favorite hobbies. I really want to persue both of them but that probably won't happen. Anyway, if I do go into cosmetology I would like to do it on Broadway or Hollywood because that is my dream!! But then again acting is another dream. Please if there is anything you can tell me, schools suggestions anything, I WILL TAKE IT!!

Do any of you know when the movie Les Chevalier d'Emeraude is going to start filming? On their site they are already getting actors but no mention of when they start shooting...so any clues?

I've heard to much crap about john robert powers and barbizon and pro scout and I need experience but I just don't know where to go. I like 45 min from downtown chicago so going to chicago is no problem. Do i go to an acting school,agency..what do i do?! I need to edit the cues of some *.rss (MIDI) files for a show. So far the only program i've found that works with them is Anvil Studio, but it's ill suited for a large project. Barring a program which can edit the cues, are their any that can edit MIDIs with out wiping out the cue data?

Hi, my name is Kalee Anne I am 14 years old and have been involved in theater since third grade.Acting is my life and I am trying to move away from theater and do short films or movies. I have blue eyes and blonde hair I am 5"4 and 110 pounds. I am very easy going and layed back (I am not naturally energetic but could easily play ditzy blondes).I am very artistic and music is my life. I have an alternitive style and would love to play a dark character. I live in the chicago land area and would really like some places I can find casting calls. I am not curently looking for an agent but if offered I will concider.

Okay, so my school is doing Pinocchio as our play. I'm Collodi (Jimminy) Cricket! But we only have one problem. During scenes we have to make the boy who's playing Pinocchio's nose grow. Remember this is during scenes everytime he tells a lie, so we can't change noses in between scenes. Does anyone have any idea of how we can do this?? Every idea helps! Thanks!

I really can't do this... I'm in way over my head. I tried memorizing the lines, but I can barely remember 1/4 of them.
I have so much going on right now with a few of my AP classes, and I have a lot of social and family issues right now.
