Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't have your dream. Seek out and surround yourself with friends and mentors who believe in you and support your goal.
You'll find that most people *don't* believe it's possible to make a prosperous living in a creative sphere. So it will take some effort on your part to gather a supportive team to help you withstand the constant bombardment of negative messages. But you can do it!
Make a collage of the success you will have, and focus on it and believe in it every day. Write about your successful future as if you already have it. Record it and play it back to yourself every day. When Jim Carrey was a penniless aspiring actor, he wrote himself a check for $10 million "for acting services rendered" and carried it in his wallet for years ... until it came true. Be creative to keep your dream alive.
If you love what you do, then do it. Do as much of it as you can. Act in school plays and community theater. Seek out local modeling opportunities. Take classes and learn your craft.
If you're really that good, you'll be discovered by being out doing it. If you have more to learn (and at 12, you most likely do), with time and practice, you'll develop the skills you need to succeed.
And be patient. You are young. You have many, many wonderful years ahead to do what you love, to learn and grow, and to show the world how amazing you can be!
Joy and Success to you!

Hey There.
I'm an Actor and Director who's been working in theatre across England and Europe for 12 years now, as long as you've been alive lol. Now I'm going to be honest with you....
Everyday I hear from people who want to be in this crazy buisness, but they think it's going to be all bright lights and adoring fans. I'm afaraid it does not work that way. It is hard, one of the hardest things you could possibly do. You will suffer heartache, rejection on a daily basis, and you will have to make some great sacrifices in you life. And even then you are unlikely to find "Fame"
But if you would still like to do it (and Bravo if you do) get involved in as much amateur and youth theatre as you can, you can only truly learn acting by doing it. When you turn 18 you can audition for "Drama School" THE BEST ONES are in England RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall in London and Bristol Old Vic are the best in my opinion, but very expensive and very difficult to get in but thats what theatre is like.
I wish you all the best.....If you are strong enough this is the best job in the world.
And remember....It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks....only you can make your dream come true

hey i know how you feel, but it is sooooooooo much harder to get it in the business than you think so you have to be a really confident and competitive. (you r not the only person)
1st of all... if u havent, start acting in theatre to get yourself started. it would get you used to be infront of people and you would be doing what you wanted to do anyways, ACTING.
2nd evaluate your goals. See, all of the stuff about Miley and Ashley was they got lucky and they r rich so they have money to go to LA 4 1 audition. So u will have 2 ask yourself, " Am i doing it for fame or doing it because that is what i love?"
3rd START LOOKING!!!-you need to look for an agent in your area or take a film class. do a class that ends with a showcase! (when you recite a monologue infront of dozens of agents to show them what you've got!!!) and dont be afraid to go 4 it!!!
4th-Auditions-you have to be careful @ auditions. there are other kids that are just as determind as u and they can get really ugly! They'll say whatever they can to get you down so dont fall for it (they're probubly nervous too)
YOU WILL HAVE SUCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Ã
nn@ :-)
PS- the reason i know this stuff is because i know some1 who made it into disney channel.

You need to become comfortable in your own skin first. Your over zealous attitude is going to set you up for a major fall. School has to come first. Remember, there are millions of talented people in the world, not all become famous. Seeking "fame" is a foolhardy mission to accept, let it find you.

You may think you have talent but you sure as hell can't spell worth a damn! Dear, it's MAJOR not "madger." Your chances are slim of EVER making it in Hollywood or anyplace else. Your parents should be encouraging you to learn to spell, and to pursue an education, as again, your chances are slim. At 12, you should be doing other things.
