Please help me- I am planning an event and I reall y need a nice backdrop for less than $250 + $55 shipping. Is there a good website or does anyone know of a place in Maryland?

Can't you try to make your own? Or should it be very complicated? I imagine with some cardboard, paint and some cheap materials one could do it. I know I would like to do it.
Otherwise, why don't you try yellow pages? Or a Google Search.

Contact the colleges and universities in your area. Their theatre depts may have something they will lend or rent to you. You can also look up theatrical supply and see if anyone local has something. I have a wonderful drop myself but I don't think I'd like to ship it across country.
