What I tell many people is to watch behind the scenes of movies and do as they do until you are perfected, then I tell them to practise emotions, and last is to act for theatres. Every single person that I said this to told me that "WOW! You are a genius, just by these simple stupid steps I have become a REAL actor," I bet that by doing this, even you will tell me the same thing. And just to give you further information about what do to promote yourself then do as I say below:

My first answer - if you want to audition for a movie or television series then the most best way to do that is with http://www.actingland.com --- there have been many famous actors who signed up with actingland and in just a moment they become famous. You will find many auditions to choose from with this site, this site is absolutly the best site for upcoming actors. In conclusion, actingland is the answer to your question. My second answer - If you want to promote yourself and let producers, directors, etc. know that you are what they want and that you exist then you must sign up with http://resume.imdb.com --- this is the first step you should take in my opinion. There is not an option for for joining IMDb, the only option you have is to sign up with IMDb if you are trying to be famous.

After this, this is where your dream will come to life. After doing all of what I have said above then the last thing to do to start your Disney actor life is to go to http://corporate.disney.go.com/auditions/disneyworld/roles.html --- this is where you make your move to move on into the Disney Channel and host your own show.

Start with local theatre and take classes with a group where you get to perform. There's so much you need to learn, and you can learn it where you live. You need to learn improv, how to memorize, how to project your voice, and it's good to learn singing and dancing, too. The shows you named have hundreds or even thousands of people auditioning, and they all have a lot of experience. You can't just show up in LA with no experience and expect to compete. Start local and work hard.
