and the "very well connected " part.. im kinda too shy to ask.. and plus i dont think this guy will be making more movies..anyways i want to audition for something else..

What is the worst if you ask and get turned down? Will you bleed to death? No? Then ask, it won't kill you. Otherwise, find a local film school and look for someone making a film. It won't pay but it will give you experience and you'll learn a lot.

if you are "Very well connected" then you don't need to be asking where to try out for movie parts.
