I want to pursue my acting career. I've taken 1 Acting class. I will pursue in my local area of Northern Cal first. But, even if I don't get something. I want to move to Los Angeles because of if being the West Coast scene for TV, and Soaps. Which is what I want to act in. Is it crucial that I get work locally first?

I live in the Atlanta area and I would like to get into modeling.
Any suggestions?
I have been told to stay away from places that ask for thousands of dollars, as they will get you nowhere.
So where do I start?

I'm 19 years old. I decided I want to pursue an acting career. I have the look, just NO experience in the field. I was always the guy who thought theatre arts were gay back in high school, but decided that acting would be perfect for me. I'm starting to attend college next September, and want to take acting classes here in Detroit, MI. I can't find any schools. What should I do first? Is there any websites for acting schools in or around Detroit, MI? Please help me out...it's either acting or modeling, but I'd rather act. Thanks!

What would a major in college for being a commercial maker be called? I don't even know how to put that in words, but just someone that makes commercials for like cars or anything. I'm thinking of maybe going into that, but I'm not sure where to start looking for a university that has a program like that. Would you just go into flim and then specialize in commercial? What would be a good college in the United States to do this at?

I'm only a sophomore in high school, but I just want to have an idea of colleges to look at before I start planning life after high school. I want to major in theatre or musical theatre, if that helps.

If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well
it were done quickly. if th' assassination
could trammel up the consequence and catch
with his surcease success, that but this blow
might be the be-all and end-all here,
but here, upon this bank and {shoal} of time,
we'd jump the life to come. but in these cases
we still have judgement here, that we but teach
bloody instructions, which, being taught, return
to plague th' inventor. this even-handed justice
commends th' ingredience of our poisoned chalice
to our own lips. he's here in double trust:
first, as i am his kinsman and his subject,
strong both against the deed; then, as his host,
who should against his murderer shut the door,
not bear the knife myself. besides, this Duncan
hath borne his faculties so meek, hath been
so clear in his great office, that his virtues
will plead like angels, trumpet-tongued, against
the deep damnation of his taking-off;
and pity, like a naked newborn babe
