At last! Someone indicates where he's going to school. An answer to this question will vary a lot and as you are a high school student, the answer is right downtown. Go to your yellow pages and call the movie house where you most often go. Ask for the manager and tell him/her that you are doing this project. Ask for a meeting and then go with a tape recorder and a list of questions that will fulfill your requirements.

Most business folks like to share their knowledge and though you won't be getting an MBA in one interview, you'll have made a local contact, impressed the movie manager and might even get a couple of passes to the theater.

Financial forecasting will take into consideration the type of films that a given theater will show, the anticipated box office receipts and how many over priced barrels of popcorns and tubs of soda they expect to sell. This is where many theaters make their profits, by the way.

A kiddie flick will get lots of kids and parents in and sell lots of refreshments where as an adult film at an art house will be less likely to do a big popcorn sales.

good luck
