I always call them "church clothes". No jeans, no mini-skirts, no showing bra-straps or underwear (lol). Then again, no balls gowns or tuxedos. For men, button-up collared shirts with slacks. For women, knee-length skirt or dress; dress pants work as well. Imagine you're going to a ballet in New York (I'm not sure if that will help, but it might haha)

Business dress is fine. Don't overdress. When I saw The Lion King at The Pantages, many audience members chose to wear their animal print fabrics. Enjoy the show.

well, depends on whether its an evening or matinee.
Matinee- Men (nice dress slacks, nice button up collored shirt)
Women-(casual/fancy dress, nice slacks and nice shirt.)
Evening Men-(dress slacks, shirt and tie , maybe a suit)
Women- (Nice dress, basic black is always a winner. or nice pants suit with heels).
I live in FL though so culture may be diff. where you are.
