My Daughter Is 11 year's old and want's to get into acting.She has thought this over and after two year's of hearing my"Sorry baby,Your going to regret it".I finally gave in.
-What do you have to do to get commercial's/movies/televison show's
-Do you think we should get a agent
-How many photoshot's should i get of her
-What it's like to audition(What do they ask you,What do you have to do)
-How much will this approcimately cost?.

I was wondering if anyone who has seen or read Richard Greenberg's play could help me with Mason's democracy and baseball monologue. I'm working on my delivery right now, but I'm just not sure what kind of emotion I should put into it. I've read a few reviews of the show and it seems like this monologue is supposed to be pretty passionate. Anyone have any suggestions?

I wrote, starred, and directed a play last year for my school's annual dinner theater. This year, I helped do the writing and the planning, but I didn't get a part in the play. Instead, really young students and poor actors were chosen after I've sacrificed my time and lost tons of sleep over this! What should I do? Confront my teachers? Deal with it? Help me!!!!

Of those who have seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show, how was it? My friend and I are interesting in seeing it but of course being virgins we don't know a single thing about it. I'm doing this for my A level coursework, and while I already have so many notes on the subject that I feel like my wrists are going to disintegrate from all the writing, I would love other people's ideas on the subject, so I can write the most exhaustive essay possible.

Oh my god, as an avid thespian and lover of musicals I always like to go and experience new things. Yesterday I saw Wicked at the Apollo in London, I got goosebumps that many times and by the end of the first half I was already crying, not at the plot, I was in total ore and wonder of this theatrical master piece. AND could only compare Idina Mendels voice to Barbra Streisand's not in similarity but in quality and magnificence. I am still on a high. Would love to see what other people thought, escpecially those who are not regular musical goers like me !

Ok, basically I need to know how to find the accents of a word. What's throwing me is: En cy clo pe di a, and words like Kash mir. the book i have says 'Kash mir' has two accented syllables but it seems to me it only has one, at the beginning. Kash (acc) mir (unacc) ????? wow this is hard stuff!
