I did submit the screenplay to a well-known competition but it's a non-profit and even if I win
( will know in a few months) I can still shop the script. Even if my screenplay needs revisions the concept I believe has the potential to be a major action movie. It will need a healthy budget since it is set in the future and will require animated sets to blend with the rest of the script. I want someone with a major, solid background to option the script. The idea behind my plot is so unique I am sure it has never been done. I can't post it here!! But, my question, how do I find a legitimate group or producer to read it and possibly option it? I don't want to submit it on a web site. I want to send it to a real person who has a name and a track record. Any ideas? Thanks! If you're answer helps and all goes well your name could show up in the movie credits!

My opinion is trash can man, turning against the "flag" and defending the others in the free zone, and flagg couldn't read his mind, so who was he really talking to?

I am trying out for the Sound of Music in a little less than a month. I have been told by several people NOT to do something from the actual play, so I thought I'd do something from another Rodgers and Hammerstein play - The King and I. I've decided to sing "I Whistle a Happy Tune" but I still need a monologue to practice. It would be helpful if someone could direct me to a site where it's all written out so I could start practicing. I desperately want to be in the Sound of Music - it's my all time favorite play, musical or otherwise. I really want to do a great job - can anyone help me find what I need?

Ideally it would be two female roles but that's not a necessity.

Once again we see mediocre performers from stage and screen receiving MBE`s OBE`s CBE`s and Knighthoods in the Queens Birthday Honours list.

Deep down I've always wanted a creative, interesting career such as acting. I love the idea of working really hard on something, such as a performance, and presenting it to people for them to enjoy. But, not growing up in the industry makes in seem like an unattainable goal. Plus, I'm almost 24, is it too late?
