My opinion is trash can man, turning against the "flag" and defending the others in the free zone, and flagg couldn't read his mind, so who was he really talking to?

trashcan man was a pyromaniac, I think trashcan man was talking to Flag...remember...he kept saying "My life for you".
and Flag was "EVIL" incarnate
