Acting classes at the college level helps. Acting in local theater groups will help, too. You need to hone your skills and gain some experience. Same for behind the scenes work. Director/Producers George Lucas and Steven Spielberg both went to college to learn the biz. Once you've done that. Either GET AN AGENT or MEET THE RIGHT PEOPLE! This is a business where you really have to know someone to break into it. Good luck.
