I'm sure most of you have seen the music videos of Beautiful Liar and Hips Don't Lie. I'm really impressed by Shakira's moves! How do you do that??

Can anyone give me the details of the Taiwan based dancers that are performing in Sydney this May? Artistic dance inspired by calligraphy. I can't remember the name of them and can't seem to find anything online.

So basically my life is dancing, 6 days a week, out til like 10 every night, you know the drill. So I'm in junior high, and I will admit I'm definately stronger than most girls my age. I like wearing tight-ish shirts and short skirts to school. Anyways, so I was just sitting in class, and this guy comes up to me and asks, "Are you diesel? Do you lift weights?" Well, I'm extremely girly, so being super muscular isn't exactly on the top of my list (especially because the guy that asked me is kinda cute....)....... Also, when I stand in first, I have a little trouble putting my heels together because my calf muscles are kinda big....... They're not that big, but do you think it's okay for a girl to be like pretty muscular looking (I'm talking about arms and legs, because I'm no where near a six pack)???? Thanks in advance!

I have been asked to enter the pageant and I would like to. I am interested in classic songs like dola re dola, but this song is meant for a group dance. I have to think of a good solo dance.

I'm not really that old...only 17. I took lessons for a year or two when I was younger but that was roughly 10 years ago. I'm pretty flexible but certainly not flexible enough to lift my leg over my head like dancers do! I'm just wondering if it's too late for me to seriously consider it worth my time to get into lessons again. I know as you get older it gets harder and it's best to start young but 16/17 isn't ancient or anything...thanks for your help!

Monday: Piano (helps me improve my music skills"
Tuesday: Grade 5 RAD Ballet Exam, Pre Pointe class
Wednesday: Contemporary, Ballet
Thursday: Jazz, Tap
Firday: Grade 5 CSTD Tap, Grade 6 CSTD Tap, Contemporary troupe class

That's about 11 hours of dance a week!

What types of breath are there? How is breath important to the performer, not only in voice, but in movement and dance? Consider the breath's role in concentration, relaxation, endurance, heart rate, fluidity of movement.

I want to be a ballroom dancer, hopefully professional. I've never danced ballroom before ever. I am seventeen. I have been dancing since i was six, tap an jazz mostly. Ballet for 4 years, and hip-hop for 3 years. I know ballroom dancing is different from those...but i really want to be a dancer. I know that it is hard to live off a salary of a dancer...etc.etc... Is this dream unlikely? What kinds of things do i need to get involved in? Like...dancing studios/schools...etc etc..?
