There are many square dance instruction books listed on amazon. Can anyone tell me which is the best one and why? Please, serious responses only.

Try the video Square Dance For Beginners at amazon.com. For 19.99 not a bad deal and the only way to learn is by visual learning. It takes two so maybe join a square dance club. Also a good place to learn, I did.

I don't think you can learn very easy from a book. Try getting an instructional video instead. This is how I learned and it was easy and fun because it had music and you could see what you where supposed to be doing.

Written dance steps are available from Caller Lab.
A better explanation (and I would suggest) the link
