This may sound like a stupid question, but...I've never been good at drawing....just like a normal person, I guess...I can draw stick ppl and smiley faces and it basically ends there...a few pieces I've spent a lot of time on turned out ok...
So my question is, if I spend time and effort, maybe take classes, etc., could I learn to draw passably, even well?

This might be a dificult question...

I recall a proffesor in college telling us a bout a battle where Alexander took among his men those with the best sight. He had them look a wall of a city he was about to attack and ask them to estimate the height of the wall. Then Alexander lined the men from the smallest estimate to the largest and picked the middle man on the line. Then Alexander used this man estimate to build the ladders to climb the wall.

This event by the way its an interesting refference to the use of the statistical median.

Please let me know where I can find any refference to this or this historical battle.

No one sins in death. Everyone gets along. No problems. Seems like just the thing people are looking for. No one wants to live forever. Why hasn't someone thought of this out before?

It's a warm, fluffy, cute little painting that needs a good title, a loving pat on the head and a place to call it's own.

But let's start with a title. What would you suggest based on you're personal perspective?

Were do we draw the line between deceptions and lies? Which is worse?
What about obligations to inform? Like if we know there is a bear up the trail and we just let the next bunch of hikers go by with out saying a thing is that a lie?

If God is waiting for us to be sinless he has a long wait ahead.
Does God mean he saved you from sinning by killing you? He is so precious. He keeps us from sinning. Political double talk.

I have an audition today that requires two brief monologues. The audition is for a feature film, so not theatrical. Anyone have any good monologues or know of a good website with them? I'm having a lot of trouble finding some!

I'm meant to have this project in a week - we have to make something like a "poster or picture or something, anything visual that conveys a message". The nets wide open but I can't think of anything to do. All I need is an idea - the theme or something to set off my own ideas. Help!

I've been working on a project, photographing 'female art nudes. Major difference is that all the subjects are well-educated & successful professionally. I've photographed a nationally-known biologist, a professor of Comparative Literature, a theatre director, etc. They are all 'hot' and attractive. I have a short bio. of each with proper place names omitted and photos have been approved by subjects regarding visibility of facial features. Assuming the photos & art direction are good (they are) could this book be marketed with a working title like 'Erotic and Smart Women." Might a publisher go for it? The idea is to challenge stereotypes.

My history teacher said in class that Hitler personaly recruited Lindbergh as a "spy" and promted him to speak against American intervention in the war. I know that Lindbergh did vist Germany and Europe and spoke against going to war, but calling him a personal spy of Hitler sounded a litte extreame. Any info on this would be helpful.
