I'm gonna go with Napoleon, because he rocked despite the obvious handicap of being French.

Uh...none of them actually. Most dictators were cruel, ruthless, and murderous thugs.
However, I'm going to go out on a limb and pick Napoleon Bonaparte because he was considered a "dictator" of France, if you will. I find his life and times interesting and intriguing.
EDIT: DJ, Napoleon was Corsican; he was what we call a "transplant." He spoke French with a heavy Italian accent.

yah I would have to agree with Napoleon as the coolest dictator.
Julius Ceasar is my 2nd favorite dictator

Provide your definition of "cool" first. That's not the first word that jumps to mind when I hear the word Dictator.
