i'm not sure. there are several popular 'alternate history' novels out there, and quite a few of them deal with what would have happened if WWII went differently. try looking up 'alternate history novels' in amazon or just on the web.

Can't help with a title, but we didn't invade Japan. We nuked them to avoid millions of American and Japanese deaths! We did, however, occupy Japan after the surrender.
