...make $500,000 dollars in a year?

(This, as I see it, is the biggest problem that pervades our society. Half a million is successful no matter how you look at it. How can someone view that situation as a "failure," or "decrease" in success, if both are "successful"?)

Success is success...in any amount...agree or disagree?

I just answered a question from a little girl who was very despondent. I gave her my optimistic words of encouragement then I read everyone else's answers. People gave her their phone #s and email addresses so that she could reach out to them. I think that is so awesome that there are many good, honest, decent people in the world. Do you think that basically most people are good, God-loving people who believe in doing right or are most people lying, cheating, scumbags only after more for themselves in YOUR opinion?

People speak about the desire for happiness, however, how much happiness can you afford? In your list of things that wealth would allow you to do, what is that you cannot do for lack of financial resources?

I am offering this poem to you,
since I have nothing else to give.
Keep it like a warm coat,
when winter comes to cover you,
or like a pair of thick socks
the cold cannot bite through,

I love you,

I have nothing else to give you,
so it is a pot full of yellow corn
to warm your belly in the winter,
it is a scarf for your head, to wear
over your hair, to tie up around your face,

I love you,

Keep it, treasure it as you would
if you were lost, needing direction,
in the wilderness life becomes when mature;
and in the corner of your drawer,
tucked away like a cabin or a hogan
in dense trees, come knocking,
and I will answer, give you directions,
and let you warm yourself by this fire,
rest by this fire, and make you feel safe,

I love you,

It's all I have to give,
and it's all anyone needs to live,
and to go on living inside,
when the world outside
no longer cares if you live or die;
remember,

I love you

Still can't find anything on this person. He died ONLY BETWEEN Nov. 1893 to Aug. 1894. Lived somewhere in the USA. Name: Hirsch / Hersch / Harry Siegel or Segall.
Was born in 1860 / Jewish from Lithuania Russia. Wife: Anna or Channe. Can anyone help us and find a guy CLOSE to this who ONLY died between these months. Would be from New York to Wisconsin. ( Northern states) My Dads grandpa. Maybe someone can help us and find him on a death list (somewhere) or a name close that died in this time period. My dads 86 and would love to know where his grandpa died. Maybe a few names that would be close even. Again, died from Nov. 1893 to Aug. 1894 in some northern state. Thanks so very much. My email is signmanj@yahoo.com to write me.

I'm photographing a b&w, sepia photo shoot with a model that's going to have a 1930's-40's Latina 'look' to it. Where can I find material that shows me clothing styles, make-up, hairstyles, accessories of the era, and where can I get items I might need for cheap. It seems eBay has a lot of interesting stuff.

A friend said it to me when I asked how it was possible that people only listen to their own point of view. I could not understand it for the life of me.

"A lot of the time humans are content to remain in a self-projecting state of falsehood. Were either too close to our image to stay objective in our conception, or too far away to be subjective in any matter. This only widens our void in social conformity introduced to our souls at birth."
